Times are Tough for China News

OK, the news is full of N. Korea stories, so there is a surfeit of good stuff out there on China law, business, etc.
Not that the N. Korea story is uninteresting. The implications for China's foreign policy strategy towards the region, its image around the world, and its relationship with the U.S. are all effected by what is happening in N. Korea.
The question many people ask is how the US-PRC relationship will change as a result of this "crisis". Hard to say, although certainly those US folks who already think that cooperatiing with China is constructive will push this dialogue on the N. Korea issue and continue saying why the US needs China's help. Those Americans who like to demonize China will no doubt blame this whole fiasco on Beijing and rant about the international Communist conspiracy. Aside from that, we will see - perhaps China has already moved a little bit towards the US within the UN arena so far, but no one is really holding out too much hope for tangible results from that body.
Stay tuned.
