Comment interruption lifted - but some moderation

I've lifted last night's temporary comment ban. You're all free to kvetch again. For the moment, I will moderate comments by anonymous users. Since my schedule is baked today and tomorrow, the turnaround time might be a bit sluggish. Registered users can comment without moderation.

Registration? you say. I wasn't aware of any registration. That's because I've never bothered to make it an issue, and the blog is setup to bypass the page where you are invited to register (although some people have discovered it anyway). If you are compelled to comment without waiting for me to rubber stamp, you can register here. It's not very onerous. No salesman will call. I will never re-sell your data because a) you don't really have to provide any and b) you're not as valuable as you think you are.

Sorry for the inconvenience. If things quiet down (and they often do) I will lift the moderation and return comments to their normal, anarchic state.

-Will
