Help, I'm starved for cynical wit!

Imagethief would like to apologize to all readers who are wondering if I have been, perhaps, hit by a train or mauled to deathy by wiener dogs (you have to watch out for those wiener dogs, they're much more dangerous than they look). I have been in a stretch of what we in the PR agency biz refer to as "hell". During this phase, my work has spread, amoeba-like, to consume nights and weeekends. With spectacular timing, I also had two magazine article deadlines in the same stretch. Now, as much as love writing this blog, a simple analysis will reveal the reason for scarce posting of late:
Not, of course, to make my readers feel like they aren't a priority. They simply don't have the whip hand, as it were.
Fortunately the schedule is beginning to ease up again. Barring disaster I should have more time for posting in the next week or two. And, really, blogging has its compensations too, although they are perhaps less tangible.
-Will
Update: Disaster has struck. I am now sick (although, for the moment, still at work). This often happens to me after a spell of working nights and weekends. I blame the goddamn salad bar at an American chain restaurant downstairs from my office. I should have known better than patronize a salad bar while my immune system was weakened by overexposure to PowerPoint radiation.
