Aspen Institute In China

December 16, 2006|

I was in Beijing last night for a dinner hosted by the Aspen Institute at the Grand Hyatt.

There were about 60 ppl invited and a good mix from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, United Nations, top Chinese business schools, and reps from Citigroup, Intel, and some NGOs. Our new monthly print magazine China CSR launched this month, and as the only monthly magazine covering corporate social responsibility on the mainland, it’s great to be a part of the growing awareness of sustainability in China.

The mission of the Aspen Institute is to foster enlightened leadership and open-minded dialogue. Through seminars, policy programs, conferences and leadership development initiatives, the Institute and its international partners seek to promote nonpartisan inquiry and an appreciation for timeless values.

We’ll be covering more of the Aspen Institute in the February issue of China CSR, so make sure to register for your own copy at the website.
