Everlasting holiday

Img_1602 The holiday season seems to never end in Beijing. This huge Christmas tree remains up in our apartment compound. Many stores have taken down their lights. But some hotels and other venues have just left them up.

I presume they will leave them all the way through the Lunar New Year week-long holiday, which this year begins on Feb. 18.

That means, once the decorations come down, we will have had about three months of holiday!
