Dear Single Women in China: Could the dating pool here get any shittier? We all know how scary the dating scene is out there and God knows we’ve all had our share of bad dates, boyfriends, one night stands, wierd physical contact etc. After one too many bad, wierd or just funny experiences a group of us realized that while it’s cathartic to tell our friends, it is sometimes even more so to anonymously tell a whole group of strangers. We’re not trying to bash anyone or ruin lives. If we can put a smile on the face of a girl who is having a hard time or just needs some humor after that diasterous date, this site has served its purpose.

Has the expat life in China come to this? While I am in no way agreeing with the sordid exploits of some expat men in Beijing, I do find this blog to be equally appalling. While the authors of the blog state that they are not trying to ruin lives…in reality that is what actually might happen…especially if it gets out who the authors are talking about (which is quite possible via the powers of the Internet and especially possible when considering the covivial world that expat life is in Beijing.) Anyway, this sort of conversation is better left private rather then to be splattered for all to see.
