In America For China-related Meetings
Aggregated Source: ChinaTechNews.com BlogJust landed in New York, via Toronto on Air Canada. I got a business-class upgrade, so I arrived in New York refreshed and just in time to find the matzo.
Going to be in the U.S. for 2 weeks, then head to Hong Kong for a week and should be back in the mainland at the end of April in time for the May holiday.
This trip to the U.S. is packed with meetings and travel. I am going to spend a couple days in Chapel Hill where I was invited to give 2 one-hour talks on CSR in China and business in China, respectively, at a program put together by the Kenan Institute. Then I head to Boston for the Harvard China Review conference this weekend, followed by a week in New York with more meetings.
This is my second year at the Harvard China Review conference and they originally wanted me to speak on CSR in China, but they couldn't get enough people to talk on the topic and put together a panel, so I think I'll just be talking about general media environment. With so many great people doing sustainablity work in China, it's a shame not enough people could show up–maybe being Easter weekend created scheduling conflicts.
