Spent last night at a small reception in Shanghai where Vincent Lo presented his KIC (Knowledge & Innovation Community). I ran into Fons there too–I think of the fifty people present, he and I were the only non-VCs and bankers.

KIC is a new high tech community sprouting in Shanghai's Yangpu district. Lo is chairman of the Shui On Group and developer of the trendy Xintiandi area in Shanghai.
