Our bilingual trade magazine China Hospitality News is sponsoring the Travel Distribution China 2007 conference in Shanghai this week. Some of my colleagues from Shenzhen and Beijing are in town for the event.

Google is interestingly the headlining sponsor, which makes me think that maybe they will add travel metasearch to either their Froogle service or a standalone service soon? Or maybe it's just a way to further promote their AdWords service to many of the travel company attendees.
