Job Posting: Olympic News Service looking for foreign reporters and editors

China Media News was at the Beijing Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games (BOCOG) offices last week, and can report that a number of positions are open for native English-speakers to report on next year's Olympics.
Details are below:
For the Olympic Games, the recruitment of international paid staff is still in process. Our team is called ONS (Olympic News Service). According to the latest overseas staff plan, ONS needs the following job positions:
ONS Chief Editors, in ONS Headquarters in MPC (Main Press Center):
ONS Sub Editors, in ONS Headquarters in MPC:
Chief Editors polish all the news articles that Sub Editors have checked and sign them to INFO system, while Sub Editors manage the content of news that written by venue ONS team.
Sports Information Specialists, in ONS Headquarters in MPC and in Competition Venues:
Should be an expert on at least one particular sport and have the experience of writing sports news articles. A SIS is responsible for writing sport-related news reports, like sport, event and daily preview and review, and directing reporters on writing, but no management.
ONS Reporters, in MPC, Competition Venues and Non-competition Venues:
Work as conventional news agency reporters in providing the press conference highlights and assisting the Sports Information Specialists in writing sport-specific preview & review before and after each event.
All these positions require whole time work from about April or May 2008 to September 2008 (about 5-6 months).
