Impediments to China’s Inflation Policy
Aggregated Source: China HearsayGreat article in Asia Times on inflation policy. Particularly important is the highlighting of the connection between trade and exchange rate policy and the current problem of rising prices. To put it simply, with the liquidity pouring in to the country it sure is tough to keep inflation in check. The article does not suggest a proper pace of exchange rate reform, however.
China Economics Blog also has a favourable impression of the Op/Ed.
