We are seeking candidates for the following full-time positions: Deputy Editor, Hong Kong China Economic Review is seeking a deputy editor to work with the editor at our Hong Kong bureau. Responsibilities include developing and managing freelance writers, shaping the editorial agenda, and writing and researching stories for print and online. A degree of writing/editing experience is preferred as is some familiarity with business/economic issues. Native-level English is necessary, and Chinese language skills are a plus. Responsibilities include generating story ideas and following up on leads, writing and researching stories for print and online and some proofreading/copyediting. The candidate should be willing to learn quickly about new trends, industries and issues. Journalism experience is preferred but not required; knowledge of business/economic issues is an advantage but not essential. Supplements editor, Shanghai China Economic Review is seeking an editor to coordinate a monthly supplement distributed inside the magazine. Responsibilities include generating content ideas, assigning and writing stories and copyediting.
