Liu Min was also responsible for launching CRI's controversial Talk China forum, which opens the floor for contributions on hot-button topics such as Taiwan and Tibet. Besides her work, Liu Min's desk served as a regular stop for lonely laowais looking to kill time rather than continue with their duties. She always greeted these visitors with a smile.
