Possible Tip For Making Better Business Travel

I had lunch today in Shanghai with people from Nike to discuss some business things, but I came away with something unexpected: info about Nike Free. I had no idea the company was doing this product, but it sounds like a great idea for business travelers.

The problem: when I travel I like to go to the gym in the hotels. However carrying a pair of running shoes gets cumbersome and can take up half my cargo if I'm only gone for one or two nights. I currently also have multiple pairs of sneakers so I need not worry about carrying them around: a pair in my Beijing office, a pair at home in Shanghai, and a pair in my gym locker in Shanghai. They are all Asics, by the way, which makes good shoes for people with bad feet, like me.

The solution: apparently with these Nike Free shoes, I can roll them up like towels and stuff them in my suitcase. With Nike Free, maybe I don't need to worry so much about spreading shoes around the world.

This sounds like an ad for these shoes, and I have yet to get my hands on some, but I plan to go to Europe in two weeks and can hopefully buy some and see if they are worth my own hype.
