路透上海12月22日电---据中国媒体称，中国政坛新星习近平新近被任命为中央党校校长，他将最终执掌中国政坛的前景也因此更为明朗。
据新华社报导，习近平在上周五的一次讲话中敦促共产党高级官员紧追党的理论体系，报导将习的职务之一描述为“中央党校校长”。
中国共产党的官方媒体《人民日报》在周六亦将习近平称为中央党校校长。由于中央党校培训的是一些有抱负的党内领导人，校长一职具有很大的政治权力。
此类职位的任命通常不会正式公布。
此前曾任职上海市委书记的习近平被广泛认为成为中国国家主席胡锦涛或中国总理温家宝的接班人。
今年10月份，习近平进入共产党顶尖领导机构中共中央政治局，成为政治局新晋常委。上个月，习近平被赋予主管港澳事务的关键职务。
