We have officially changed the name of the Infocomm Committee to the "I.T. Committee" at the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, so hopefully the new, generic name is more recognizable to people and more descriptive of the types of meetings and events we hold.

And with that name change, we now have organized our first event on March 25 in Shanghai with that new committee name and it will be an evening discussion on "Global Online Video Trends", with Clement Tsang, CEO and Executive Producer of CedricM Video.

The recent few years have seen an explosion of video available through online channels around the world. China has seen its share of explosive growth through websites such as Tudou.com, 56.com and Youku.com. Clement was previously with Viacom Asia Inc’s MTV China and with Trinity Sports where he was responsible for major global accounts such as PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, and Vivendi Universal amongst others. And more information about his talk to Amcham will be found at the Chamber's website.
