Stern measures to separatists
Aggregated Source: Jiang's Information OfficeGathering round my desk this afternoon, my
roommates and I watched the video clip about Tibet riot from the internet,
released by the state-owned CCTV. We were shocked by the atrocity of those
Tibetan rioters, as several innocent people were burnt to death and many were
injured in the disturbance.
Chinese government said the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama had
planned and incited the violent demonstration, which was widely accepted by
most of the Chinese people who concerned themselves in this problem, including all
four of us. I don’t quite understand why western leaders still contact with,
even support Dalai Lama, who wanted to break Tibet
away from China,
including British Prime Minister, U.S House Speaker. The latter also denounced China’s so-called
crackdown on the violence. I suppose, it must arouse public indignation in China, because many
Chinese people don’t want to see that the united country is to be separated,
just like the Americans during the 1860s.
Chinese government should take more stern measure to those separatists,
safeguarding national unity.
