1.        I dislike those who claim that only Marxists could understand the meaning of Dream of the Red Chamber, like Liu Shide, a so-called expert on this classical novel. It is quite ridiculous to say that. Can you surpass the scholars lived in 100 years ago?

2.        The difference of commerce between China and western countries lay in that familism prevailed among the Chinese while individualism among the western people. (Qian Mu, a Chinese historian)

3.        What is the nature of morality? According to the definition from the dictionaries it means the principals of good behavior. Its Chinese equivalent is daode 道德.  In ancient Chinese, dao means the way, or all wonderful things. 衆妙皆道也,合三才萬物共由者也。
de
means good, beauty, righteous, brightness.
凡言德者,善美,正大,光明,純懿之稱也。
In the Republic, Socrates assumes that there is an area of expertise, and that what holds good for other areas of expertise will hold good for morality as well. And it is never right to harm anyone under any circumstances, morality is not to the advantage of the stronger party.
