It is a great pleasure to read the meditations. -- We must make haste, not only because we are nearer to death, the conception of things and understanding of them cease first. It reminds me of a wisdom by Zhuangzi, "my life span is limited, but the understandings of thins are unlimited. " therefore, make full use of every minute in your life.

Every man's life is sufficient, but thine is nearly finished. Though your soul reverences not yourself but lay felicity in the souls of others. What does this sentence mean? It teaches me that I should focus more on my own soul, and then enjoy the felicity of thinking, or rather, meditation. Don't rest too much hope on things outside your soul. You should have your own goal. You should model yourself on the great minds, not the ordinary people around you.

Cyclone: At least 15,000 people were killed the cyclone disaster in Myanmar. Millions were made homeless, as their houses were destroyed. They need tents and drinking water badly. That's current situation of the disaster area in south Asia.

Children laborers: tempted by the so-called high salary, hundreds of schoolboys were carried to Dongguan, the major industrial center in south China. Unfortunately, those children were abused by the factories. They sweated blood day after day, while getting thrashings and scolding.

Tian'anmen Square security: Tian'anmen square's security has been tightened ahead of the Beijing Olympic Games, according to the municipal government. The policemen are authorized to search people and vehicles randomly around the area.
