Cisco has in fact, been very clear from day one about our sales and equipment in China. Namely, it is the same equipment that we sell worldwide and we make no modifications for any market. That’s worth repeating: we make no modification for any market and we have not tailored our equipment for the purposes of censorship, ever. Although that might not make for a compelling blog entry, that is the truth.

As to the internal PowerPoint presentation that quotes the objectives of one Chinese official, we regret that it happened. Our General Counsel testified before Congress this week and was asked about this and said he was "appalled" and that it did NOT represent Cisco policy. If you would like to read more about what we do and do not do in China, please read his blog entry of this week here: http://blogs.cisco.com/news/comments/general_counsel_mark_chandler_testifies_before_congress/
